About

Michiel Pilgram

I work with Adobe products, Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer, for a living. One day when I was searching for a solution for a problem, I found Avid Hates You. That inspired me to write down my own rants and solutions.

I’m a New York-based filmmaker, working primarily for public TV as an editor on  PBS NewsHourAmanpour & CoFiring LineNYC-ArtsGreat Performances, and documentaries like After Newtown: Guns in America Dead Reckoning and Urk. I directed Displaced, a documentary short about refugees my friend Andrew Berends saw when he passed through Kirkuk in 2004 on his way to Iraq.
I’ve also produced indie films, like Bobby G Can’t SwimOff Jackson Avenue and The Astrologer
